Grants Only Group were integral to the success of the SEEDS project at Tarwin Lower Primary School. Kathy Lagoudis used the knowledge she gained from the grant writing training courses and project management seminar she has been able to participate in due to her involvement with GOG, to write the SEEDS project plan. Kathy spent a long time thinking about this project before even beginning planning, then spent the next couple of months putting all those ideas onto paper and coming up with the SEEDS project. The project has been funded by the RE Ross Trust. In wanting to ensure the sustainability of the project it was decided to create a 3 year project plan. Different aspects of the project are focused on each year. You can check out the SEEDS blog here. SEEDS BLOG.
Tarwin Lower Primary School is extremely excited and looking forward to the students getting involved with the garden and cooking.

More Planning Info
We are back, after a couple of weeks off, and still focusing on PLANNING. I can't stress enough, how important the planning stage is when looking for a grant. Not only do grant makers want to see how the whole project is planned, but you will also need this plan if you receive the money. As we have been told through out our training, you actually have to be prepared and ready to execute your project, expect to get the money.
