GOG's Planning Brainstorm

When we are approached by a client to find a grant, we suggest they work through this brainstorming activity. We find this is effective in helping think through all the different aspects of a project. We have been told, through our training, time and time again that good plans are much more likely to get funded. If you can demonstrate to a funder that you have thoroughly planned your project, that you have identified risks, looked at alternatives, have measurable outcomes and evidence of the need for the project, then you will come across as competent and capable of actually completing the project.
